Bureau's Complaint Assistance Draws Praise

A Los Angeles consumer who could not get phone service in her new home because of an allegedly unpaid bill for 2000 writes:

"I cannot begin to express my gratitude for your assistance. It has taken over a year to settle this matter. You have no idea how many times I tried to contact [the collection agency]. I never got a phone call back EVER, and never received replies to my letters. It wasn't until you got involved that they took action. I don't feel this complaint would have been resolved without your help."
